How to Study For The Kentucky Real Estate Exam

(Hopefully) We can assume that you do understand the best way to pass any test is to fully understand the material. After all, getting your Kentucky Real Estate License is one of the most important accomplishments of your life. So, how do we do that?

  1. Take real estate practice exams over the course of 1-3 months depending on your knowledge level.
  2. Watch YouTube videos of real estate exam prep teachers. They are awesome and they are free! We have quite a few but there are other great teachers as well.
  3. Memorize all the real estate vocabulary. This should be common sense, but make flashcards and just go over them until you know them all.

How many times can you take the Kentucky real estate exam?

 Students will have three total attempts to score a 75% or better and two hours to complete it. 

How many questions are on the Kentucky Real Estate Test?

We have interviewed PSI and spoken to the Kentucky Real Estate Commission. We can confirm at this time there are 100 total questions on the real estate exam. On the national portion of the exam there are 80 questions and the remaining are Kentucky specific.

 

Is the Kentucky Real Estate Exam hard?

Yes! It is very hard. As of 2024, only 60% of agents pass the licensing exam on the first try.

The good news is, the people passing the real estate exam are using a real estate exam test prep (like us!) and their pass rate goes to 93%. 

how much is the Kentucky real estate exam?

The cost of the exam is $100, whether you take the State exam only or the National Exam only (or take both). Candidates must complete all course requirements and request their FBI report prior to taking the licensing exam. Payment will not be accepted at the test center. Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Often, if you fail the exam, the fees are a little cheaper for the next one.(but don’t fail, work with us)

Can You Take The Kentcuky Real Estate Exam Online?

No. In Kentucky, they do not allow online testing for the real estate licensing exam. 

There is no final grade given when you complete the test, it will simply tell you if you have passed or if you have failed.

What Score Do I Need On The Kentucky Real Estate Exam To Pass?

For salespersons, you need to answer 75% questions correctly on the National examination and 75% of the questions correctly on the State examination in order to pass.
