How many times can you take the Vermont real estate exam?

Students get as many chances as needed to pass the examination. If you fail one portion of the test, you will able to retake it. However, if you fail more than once, the full examination will have to be retaken. There are no limits for the attempts.

How many questions are on the Vermont Real Estate Test?

We have interviewed PSI and spoken to the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation. We can confirm at this time there are 110 total questions on the real estate exam for salespersons. On the national portion of the exam there are 80 questions and the remaining 30 are Vermont specific. For Brokers, there are 40 State specific questions for a total of 120.

Is the Vermont Real Estate Exam hard?

Yes! It is very hard. As of 2024, about 65% of agents  pass the licensing exam on the first try.

The good news is, the people passing the real estate exam are using a real estate exam test prep (like us!) and their pass rate goes to 93%.

how much is the Vermont estate exam?

The cost for the Vermont Real Estate Exam is $55, to be completed through PSI. However, there is and additional examination to be completed on the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation platform.

Can You Take The Vermont Real Estate Exam Online?

Yes. In Vermont, they allow online testing for the real estate licensing exam. 

The final grade will be mailed in the following 10 days and contains an overall pass/fail score and a report with the diagnosis indicating your strengths and weeknesses on the national portion.

For salespersons, you need to achieve a score of 70%  on both National and State examination in order to pass. For brokers, you need a score of 75% on both National examination State examination in order to pass the examination.
