How many times can you take the New Mexico real estate exam?

There is no maximum number of attempts for the New Mexico Real Estate Exam, which means you can take it as many times as you need in case you fail the first try. If you don’t pass one of the portions of the exam, you will only have to retake the one you failed. However, there is a factor to keep an eye on; there is a 90-day period after you pass the first examination to finish the other one, in case you don’t finish both, you must retake both portions of the test.

How many questions are on the New Mexico Real Estate Test?

We have interviewed PSI and spoken to the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. We can confirm at this time there are 125 total questions to be answered for the real estate exam, those questions are divided into 75 national questions and 50 state-specific. The national portion includes some questions that score up to 2 points for a total of 80 possible points.

Is the New Mexico Real Estate Exam hard?

Yes! It is very hard. As of 2023, only 52% of agents pass the licensing exam on the first try.

The good news is, the people passing the real estate exam are using a real estate exam test prep (like us!) and their pass rate goes to 93%.

how much is the New Mexico real estate exam?

The cost of the exam for brokers is $95, this is the title for persons authorized to develop real estate activity. The fee remains the same regardless you take just one or both portions of the examination. Be aware that payments will not be accepted at the test center as they are made at the moment of the reservation.

Can You Take The New Mexico Real Estate Exam Online?

No. In New Mexico, the option for an online proctored exam is not available and you will have to attend a PSI test center, you can find them in Albuquerque, Farmington, Las Cruces, Roswell and Santa Fe. What Score Do I Need On The New Mexico Real Estate Exam To Pass?

The passing score for the New Mexico examination is 75% on a scale from 0 to 100. On the national portion of the test, you will have to score 60 out of 80 possible points and 38 out of 50 possible points in the state portion. At the end of the test, you will receive a pass/fail notification. In case you fail, you will receive a diagnostic report with details on your strengths and weaknesses, depending on the examination type. After that, you will receive a printed score report at the examination site.
