How to Study For The Mississippi Real Estate Exam

How many times can you take the Mississippi real estate exam?
There is no maximum number of attempts for the Mississippi Real Estate Exam in its national portion, which means you can take it as many times as you need in case you fail the first try. For the state portion of the test, you will have 2 attempts. If you don’t pass one of the portions of the exam, you will only have to retake the one you failed. However, there is a factor to keep an eye on; you have a period of 2 months to pass both portions of the test, otherwise, you must re-apply to the Commission to be eligible for a new examination.
How many questions are on the Mississippi Real Estate Test?
We have interviewed PSI and spoken to the Mississippi Real Estate Commission. We can confirm at this time there are 120 total questions to be answered for the real estate exam, those questions are divided into 80 national questions and 40 state-specific. The national portion for brokers includes 75 questions for the same score of 80 due to some of the questions being scored up to 2 points.
Is the Mississippi Real Estate Exam hard?
Yes! It is very hard. As of 2024, only 52% of agents pass the licensing exam on the first try.
The good news is, the people passing the real estate exam are using a real estate exam test prep (like us!) and their pass rate goes to 93%.
how much is the Mississippi real estate exam?
The cost of the exam is $75. The fee remains the same regardless you take just one or both portions of the examination. Be aware that payments will not be accepted at the test center as they are made at the moment of the reservation.
Can You Take The Mississippi Real Estate Exam Online?
No. In Mississippi, the option for an online proctored exam is not available and you will have to attend PSI test centers, you can find them in Jackson, Metairie, Baton Rouge, Mobile and Memphis. There are also examination sites in Colorado and Texas. Keep in mind to show up at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time for the test.

What Score Do I Need On The Mississippi Real Estate Exam To Pass?
To pass the Mississippi Real Estate Exam, salespersons must answer 56 correct answers out of 80 possible on the national portion of the test and 30 out of 40 on the state portion. That gives a score of 70% and 75%, respectively. Brokers must score 60 out of 70 possible points on the national portion of the test and 32 out of 40 possible points on the state portion. That gives a score of 75% and 80%, respectively. At the end of the test you will receive a pass/fail notification. In case you fail, you will receive a diagnostic report with details on your strengths and weaknesses, depending on the examination type. After that, you will receive a printed score report at the examination site.
