How many times can you take the Alaska real estate exam?

In case you fail or miss your first try on the examination, you’ll be able to try again up to three times within a 12-month period. If you fail your third attemptthe state requires additional education. For each failed portion of the exam (national, state, or both), you will need to take an additional 30 hours of education in order to be eligible for a fourth take on the exam. How many questions are on the Alaska Real Estate Test?

We can confirm at this time there are 120 total questions on the real estate exam. On the national portion of the exam there are 80 questions and the remaining 40 questions are Alaska specific.

Yes! It is very hard. As of 2024, only 70% of agents pass the licensing exam on the first try.

The good news is, the people passing the real estate exam are using a real estate exam test prep (like us!) and their pass rate goes to 92%.

how much is the Alaska real estate exam?

The cost of the exam is $100 for brokers and salesperson, whether you take the State exam only or the National Exam only (or take both). Candidates must complete all course requirements and request their FBI report prior to taking the licensing exam. Payment will not be accepted at the test center. Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Often, if you fail the exam, the fees are a little cheaper for the next one.(but don’t fail, work with us)

Can You Take The Alaska Real Estate Exam Online?

No. In Alaska, even though the exams are administered electronically, you have to the test center with all your required materials to take the exam. There is no final grade given when you complete the test, it will simply tell you if you have passed or if you have failed.
